BMKG Predicts Rain over Jakarta and Supermoon in the Night

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rain will shower over five areas within the Jakarta region on Tuesday with an average temperature of 23-33 degrees Celcius.
BMKG weather forecaster Nanda Alfuadi announced through the agency’s Instagram account that the city will experience 95 percent humidity accompanied by 10 kilometers per hour wind gusts.
The agency also announced of a full moon perigee, also known as supermoon that will start as dusk sets in. BMKG predicts that the supermoon will happen at 22:53 Indonesia Western Time (WIB).
The supermoon is is a phenomenon where the full moon is 30 percent brighter since it reflects more light compared to an apogee.
